Cookie Policy

This policy explains the browser storage used by the current version of ReflexMint.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small values that a website may send with later web requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that keeps data on the device and does not automatically send that data with each request. ReflexMint uses local storage for benchmark statistics and the visitor's analytics preference. Google Analytics may use cookies only after analytics consent is granted.

Browser-local benchmark statistics

Reaction Time, Click Speed, Spacebar Speed, Typing Speed, Aim Trainer, Number Memory, Sequence Memory, Visual Memory, and Color Reaction use local storage to remember personal benchmark results. Depending on the tool, this may include best and latest scores, timing or speed values, accuracy, counts, completed-test counts, limited recent history, and timestamps. This information remains separate from Google Analytics. Keyboard Test is session-only and does not persist diagnostic results.

Analytics preference storage

ReflexMint stores the analytics choice locally under reflexmint:analytics-consent:v1 with a value of granted or denied. The preference is not sent to a ReflexMint backend. If no valid choice exists, Google Analytics remains blocked and the consent banner is shown.

Google Analytics storage

After consent is granted, ReflexMint loads Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage and performance. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies. If analytics is rejected before loading, ReflexMint does not load the Google Analytics tag or set its cookies.

No advertising storage

ReflexMint does not currently use AdSense, advertising cookies, advertising storage, Google Tag Manager, or personalized-advertising consent.

Managing browser storage

You can remove locally stored benchmark statistics through your browser's site-data controls. You may also block local storage; doing so prevents personal statistics and the analytics preference from persisting but does not prevent use of the core benchmarks. Use Analytics settings in the footer to accept, reject, or change analytics consent. When consent is revoked, ReflexMint disables future analytics sending where practical and attempts to remove known first-party Google Analytics cookies for the current site.
